If you’re struggling to get to grips with the all features packed inside your iPad, iPhone or Mac then help is at hand. Apple has been running its in-store help sessions for a number of years which give face-to-face advice on how to make the most of your new gadgets. However, with shops remaining shut until April 12 – due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic – the technology firm has come up with another way of getting users up to speed with their latest purchases.
The popular Today at Apple events have now gone virtual with Apple fans able to book a session online and watch a live and interactive briefing from the comfort of their homes.
Once logged in you’ll get a personal guide to your iPad, Mac, or iPhone with a chat box allowing you to ask questions throughout the hour-long tutorial. Everything is run by a real person with each step explained in detail to help you get to grips with things.
These Product Skills sessions are all aimed at people who are new to Apple devices or have just upgraded with the demos taking you through all the very best features and basic functionality.
And, the best part is, they are totally free to join.
Explaining more Apple said: “Our Apple Creatives will show you how to navigate your device, customise your settings, and discover ways to be more productive. Then, we’ll explore the latest features and share a few of our favourite tips.”
Although in-store session should start up again soon, Apple has also confirmed that it will continue its online help until September.
That means those who still don’t feel comfortable heading into a busy shopping centre will still be able to take advantage.
