CALL OF DUTY DOWN – UPDATE ONE: The official Activision support page says Call of Duty server are back online now.

This comes around half an hour after initial confirmation of the widespread Call of Duty server issues that hit today.

Not only were recent COD titles such as Modern Warfare and Warzone affected, but so were Call of Duty games going as far back as 2008’s World at War.

ORIGINAL: Call of Duty down reports are on the rise with Modern Warfare and Warzone players reporting server issues today.

Independent outage monitor Down Detector has seen a huge spike in Call of Duty down reports today.

Out of those affected some 88 per cent are experiencing server connection issues while others are facing Call of Duty login problems.

The Down Detector outage map says the Call of Duty server issues are affecting players in the UK, US and Europe.

While the official Activision server status page for Call of Duty says there is an outage affecting all platforms.

The latest Call of Duty server status update says: “We’re currently experiencing connectivity issues. This incident is under investigation.”

The Activision Support page also revealed that other COD titles besides Call of Duty Modern Warfare are experiencing server connection issues today.

All Call of Duty titles from the recent Modern Warfare all the way back to 2008’s World at War on the PS3 and Xbox 360 have been hit with server issues.

The official Activision Support Twitter also tweeted to confirm to COD fans that connectivity issues have hit tonight.

And as the COD server outage happened Call of Duty fans took to social networking site Twitter to report the online issues they were facing.

One tweeted: “The Call of Duty servers are down the day I am able to play again”.

Another posted: “How DARE call of duty server go down on EASTER”.

And one added: “@CallofDuty just went down and idk what to do with my life at the moment”.
