With Grandmaster Nightfalls just around the corner, Guardians will want to grab the best gear to prepare in Destiny 2.

The first thing fans will need to do is find out Where Xur is today and what he is selling for Legendary Shards?

With some big events coming our way, there’s a chance that Bungie will be offering up some juicy weapon combos to get everyone ready.

However, Xur can be a mixed bag, and it will be interesting to find out what is making the cut over the coming days.

As mentioned above, the Agent of Nine is set to arrive today, meaning that all of these questions will be answered very soon.

Guardians in North America will be waiting until last morning for their chance to track down Xur and evening in the UK.

And even then, gamers will have to sweep the various Destiny locations and maps to find out where Xur is.

Last week saw Xur turn up in The Tower, hanging out in the usual spot around Dead Orbit.

It made for an easy find and meant there was no need to fly around to different locations on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The Destiny team likes to make the Agent of the Nine easy to find during big events – like the launch of the Vault of Glass.

And with the return of Grandmaster Nightfalls, Bungie could be inclined to make it another easy week.

The return of Xur will allow gamers to trade Legendary Shards for exotics, but only for a short period.

The Destiny 2 Xur location from June 18 until June 22 will be revealed at 6pm BST, and it won’t take long for Guardians to start hunting the Agent of the Nine down.

All the items will be available until the weekly reset is completed and all rituals are wiped.

Last week, Xur was selling the Two-Tailed Fox for 29 Legendary Shards, and the Chromatic Fire for 23 Legendary Shards, among a number of other items.

For anyone who has forgotten, Legendary Shards used by Xur items are remnants of powerful items used to improve gear or trade for other items.

It should also be noted that Xur will be dropping items similar in power level to your character.

And another part of Xur that is new to the latest version of Destiny 2 is that he now drops Cipher Quests for free.

The Quest will reward you with an exotic Cipher, and last weeks included completing 21 Strikes or winning the same number of Crucible or Gambit matches.

Every week, Guardians can acquire one Exotic Engram using Legendary Shards that will decrypt as Exotics that aren’t already in your collection.

And the return of the Xur isn’t the only big event for Guardians to track this month, with the Grandmaster Nightfalls returning on June 22.

For anyone who needs a refresher, here is the full description of what is coming next to Destiny 2:

“Grandmaster Nightfalls are “aspirational content” in Destiny 2. Each week, you and your fireteam will be challenged by stronger enemies, tricky modifiers, terrifying Champions, and beefy bosses as you hunt for powerful rewards.

“Revives are limited, so you’ll want to be strategic in your engagements. Saving ammo to burn down specific targets at a moment’s notice, using Supers to keep your teammates alive, and making sure to have the appropriate armor mods equipped to keep your abilities up as often as possible.

“Guardians must be at 1335 Power to enter Grandmaster Nightfall events. This is a mix of both Pinnacle Power, which can be earned from numerous activities, and your Artifact Power, which continues to rise as you gain XP.

“If you’re still feeling a bit under-leveled, make sure to complete your Seasonal Challenges, snag some bounties before hitting your weekly activities, and complete your weekly milestones in raids, Nightfalls, ritual activities, and more.”
