The FIFA 20 demo release date appears to have leaked ahead of launch.
If a newly discovered leak posted on Reddit is anything to go by, fans won’t have to wait very long for the demo to launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
As you can see from the image below, the FIFA 20 demo will reportedly have a September 12 release date.
With previous FIFA demos dropping a couple of weeks before launch, the September 12 release date certainly makes sense.
Better yet, the upcoming demo will reportedly let fans experience the game’s new Volta FIFA Street mode.
That’s based on an image featuring Raheem Sterling, Jadon Sancho, and Eden Hazard pictured on a street court in front of a hotel.
The leaked poster also sheds some light on the teams that will feature in the demo.
If the leak is true – and it’s worth taking with a pinch of salt for now – Liverpool, Real Madrid, PSG and Manchester City will headline the demo.
Borussia Dortmund, Roma, Atletico Madrid, Club America, LAFC and Vissel Kobe will also reportedly be included.
There’s no word on featured stadiums, so fans will have to wait and see what EA has in store.
Expect the release date to be announced within the next week or so.
The upcoming FIFA game makes all of the usual changes to gameplay, including a new dynamic dribbling system that offers more options in 1-v-1 situations.
It also introduces strafe dribbling, controlled tackling and composed finishing when it’s just you versus the goalkeeper.
Active Touch Tackling adds new animations that reward players for well-timed defensive play, while strafe dribbling means you can better lure defenders in and move with more agility.
The biggest new addition is the Volta Street Football mode, which also appears to be the focus of the game’s story.
