Samsung is pushing out an important update to its Galaxy S10 devices which owners should definitely download.
The security patch is part of the firm’s monthly upgrades which are sent out to devices to fix bugs and known issues which could make these phones less secure.
The June update includes a range of Android and Samsung specific changes with some of the patches deemed critical – the highest level.
The most severe bug fix in the June download mends a security vulnerability in Media framework that could enable a remote attacker using a specially crafted file to execute arbitrary code.
Although this update was announced earlier this month, SamMobile is reporting that it’s only just become available for Galaxy S10 devices.
Speaking about its security, Samsung said: “At Samsung, we take security and privacy issues very seriously and we are doing our best to respond as quickly as possible.
“Securing your device and maintaining the trust you place in us is our top priority.”
