LEGO is back with what could be one of its most popular and iconic sets to date.

The new LEGO Ideas creation features the entire cast of Friends with Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Joey and Phoebe all immortalised as Minifigures.

Along with those famous characters, there’s also the Central Perk coffee shop to build with this set featuring over 1,000 LEGO elements.

Once pieced together you’ll find the famous Freinds couch, coffee bar, menu board and stage where Phoebe performs her less than impressive songs on guitar.

There’s also a window with the CENTRAL PERK logo decoration and it even features two brick-built TV studio light rigs with translucent light-style elements.

The LEGO Ideas Fan Designer for Central Perk was Aymeric Fievet from Normandy, France.

Speaking about creating the set, Aymeric said: “The challenge was to visualize passages of the series to allow me to recreate the furniture and the characters in as much detail as possible.

“The assembly of this model took me about a week after finding the necessary references.

“During the voting period, the set was changed several times!”

The LEGO Ideas Central Perk set is available from today directly from LEGO Stores and shop.LEGO.com

It measures in at over 11cm high, 29cm wide, 22cm deep and will set you back £64.99 – it’s also recommended for 16 years and over.

This Friends set launches alongside another important creation from LEGO.

The all-new LEGO Treehouse not only features all of the usual fun of building one of these famous toys but also includes the highest number of sustainable pieces ever.

In fact, all 185 plants and leaves that feature in the model are made from sustainable materials sourced from sugarcane.

The company first revealed its new plant-based pieces last year but this new model is first to arrive in stores with such a large volume of these more environmentally friendly options.

LEGO says that children and parents will not notice any difference in the quality, durability or appearance of the new elements, because plant-based materials have the same properties as conventional polyethene.

And the company adds that these elements represent the first milestone in the LEGO Group’s ambitious commitment to making products using sustainable materials by 2030.

If you fancy building the new LEGO IDEAS Treehouse it is available directly from LEGO Retail Stores and shop.LEGO.com from August 1 with a price of £179.99.
