The new iPhone XR will be available to pre-order from tomorrow but that’s not the only launch coming from Apple in October.

The US technology firm has just announced a major event in New York on October 30.

Although there’s no word on what will be officially announced at the event, invites have just been sent out with the words, “There’s more in the making.”

Unlike previous years, when every invite was identical, it seems different images have been sent out to certain publications which could suggest this keynote is all about being creative.

Rumours have been rife for months that Apple is planning to refresh its iPad and Apple Pencil lineup with new Pro machines expected to be unveiled.

Some experts are predicting the new iPad Pro will feature an all-screen display which will cover almost the entire front of the device.

Faster processor, better camera and the addition of Face ID are also expected, with this the first iPad to lose the famous home button.

We’ll have to wait and see what Apple has in store but it may not be the only new product revealed at the event.

Along with a new iPad, there’s plenty of rumours suggesting that Apple will release a new MacBook Air.

This popular laptop hasn’t had a major upgrade in years and it could finally be time to see some new features arriving on the portable powerhouse.

Improved Retina display, new keyboard and faster processor could feature along with a refreshed design.

Apple’s October keynote takes place on October 30 at 10am local time – 3pm GMT.
