Sky’s NOW TV service continues to grow in popularity with it offering the ability to watch a swathe of content without having to sign up to a lengthy contract.

As well as making it easier to watch TV the streaming platform also offers plenty of deals for new customers and their latest discount is certainly one to watch out for.

From today until June 9, NOW TV is giving customers the chance to get a Sky Sports pass for just £25 per month.

That price is a saving of over 25 per cent off the usual cost and is available for four months at that lower price.

The deal comes as Sky is reminding fans that it is the only place to watch all 48 matches from the World Cup, starting with England v South Africa on 30th May.

And the cricket action will continue with The Ashes starting on 1st August.

The historic tournament will see England play Australia over six weeks in an attempt to regain the Ashes after losing out in 2017.

As well as cricket, the Pass also gives access to sports action across 11 Sky Sports channels, including football and F1.

The deal goes live tomorrow and you can find more details here.

Although there’s plenty to love about NOW TV there is one issue that fans continue to be unhappy about.

Those who subscribe to the service can’t currently watch content in 1080p full HD quality with shows and sports only available in standard definition.

Consumers have been desperate for this upgrade and it seems some changes could be inbound.

Speaking to Pocket-lint a Sky spokeswoman confirmed that they have begun testing streams in higher quality.

“Later this year we will be introducing the option of streaming Now TV both live and on demand in Full HD, with content from the likes of Sky Atlantic, Sky One and Sky Sports,” she said.

“Like any new functionality, we always conduct trials before releasing new products or features to all our customers.”

It’s currently unclear when this update will officially arrive on NOW TV or if it will cost any extra to subscribe but it certainly seems that Sky is getting ready to bring this improvement to this hugely popular service.
