PS Plus March 2019 selection of free PS4 games is going live soon for PlayStation Plus members.

The PS Plus March 2019 line-up was revealed last week by Sony and is headlined by free PS4 games Modern Warfare Remastered and The Witness.

As previously announced by Sony, the PS Plus March 2019 line-up will only feature PS4 games.

Going forward PS3 and PS Vita games have been dropped from PlayStation Plus, with PS Plus February 2019 the last line-up to feature these formats.

But fans will get a bit longer to download the last PS Plus games for PS Vita and PS3.

The PS Plus February 2019 line-up is headlined by Hitman and For Honor on the PS4, with these games getting swapped out on Tuesday March 5.

The new PS4 free games in the PS Plus March 2019 line-up should become available to download from 10am UK time.

But while the February 2019 PS Plus PS4 games get replaced then, the PS3 and PS Vita games will stick around for a little longer.

PS Plus members will have until Friday March 8 to download the last PS3 and PS Vita games for PlayStation Plus.

These titles are Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots (PS3), Gunhouse (PS Vita, Rogue Aces (PS Vita and PS4) and Divekick (PS3 and PS Vita).

Ahead of the PS Plus March 2019 line-up going live a new free game has launched on the PS Store that fans should check out.

The excellent Hitman 2 is now available as a free download over on the PlayStation Store.

The Hitman 2 Free Starter Pack contains the New Zealand level in its entirety.

Not only can you play through the story mission, but you can also attempt all of the challenges and mastery levels associated with the level.

Sony explains more: “Gain free access to the first mission in Hitman 2!

“Travel to New Zealand and join Agent 47 on his hunt for the elusive Shadow Client, only to find himself caught in a dangerous turn of events. Can you get out alive?

“Get familiar with the unique replayability of Hitman 2 by creatively experimenting, improvising, and completing all the challenges that Hawke’s Bay has to offer.”

Progress from the Free Starter Pack will carry over to the full release of Hitman 2 if you chose to buy Agent 47’s latest adventure.
