PS4 games news today leads with the announcement from Sony that a brand new State of Play stream is taking place this week.
This is the second State of Play broadcast that Sony has held and the PS4 games reveal will be happening around a month before E3 2019.
The PlayStation makers have already given a few hints about what news PS4 fans can expect from State of Play May 2019.
PS4 gamers will be treated to an announcement on the MediEvil remake as well a first look at a “new title”.
There will also be news on other “upcoming PS4 games”, but Sony warned that there will not be any announcements on the PS5 in this State of Play.
In a blog post online Sony said: “PlayStation Worldwide Studios will be showing off an extended look at the upcoming MediEvil remake, as well as a first look at a new title.
“And we’ll have other updates and announcements from upcoming PS4 games.
“One note: Don’t expect any updates relating to our next-generation plans this time. Sorry!”
The upcoming State of Play broadcast will take place on Thursday May 9 and the stream has a start time of 11pm BST.
The big PS4 games announcements will be streamed on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.
