If you’re a Sonos fan then there’s some exciting news that’s been announced today.

The famous audio firm has just revealed some new devices which include its first-ever portable Bluetooth speaker.

Called the Sonos Move, this new music machine features impressive audio along with a design that can cope with the great outdoors.

In fact, Sonos says that its durable shell and IP56 rating means the Move is built to withstand accidental falls, bumps, rain and moisture, dust, UV rays, and extreme temperatures.

It also has 10-hours of battery life plus built-in Alexa and Google Assistant support, allowing you to access a swathe of smart features.

Another nice addition is that this device can connect to your current setup and then be taken out and about with music played via Bluetooth.

Other features include touch controls, Apple AirPlay 2 compatibility and USC-C charging.

There is only one drawback of the Move – at £399 it is pretty expensive.

If that cost isn’t putting you off then it will be available from September 24 in United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Austria, Mexico,Denmark, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, Norway,Finland, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, and Ireland.

Along with the Move, Sonos has also unveiled another new speaker called the Sonos One SL.

The essential speaker for music and more, One SL delivers rich, room-filling sound identical to the Sonos One without built-in microphones to give customers the choice of a smart speaker without voice control.

One SL replaces Play:1 as the essential Sonos speaker and includes AirPlay 2.

It will cost £179 and pre-orders starts September 5, with it arriving in stores starting September 12.
